All FSSI inspections are done with NFPA Standards (National Fire Protection Association) and in compliance with the Texas State Fire Marshal's Office and the local authority having jurisdiction.
Why Inspect?
Many outdated fire protection systems may have stopped working without warning. It is important to keep them in working condition at all times. Today, state-of-the-art technical advances have made it possible to detect problem areas prior to a fire starting, giving prompt notification and programmed evacuation instructions.
The FSSI inspection program consists of testing all initiating devices connected to your system, i.e., manual pull stations, smoke and duct detectors, water-flow switches, etc. Indicating devices, such as horns, speakers, and strobes, will also be tested to ensure proper operation and locations. All equipment will be thoroughly inspected, including the main control panel and all remote control panels.
